IMPORTANT: AutoReply Mate processes all data LOCALLY on your device. We do not send, store, or process your data on external servers.

The App accesses the following information exclusively on your device:

a) Message Content

• Text of received WhatsApp messages (via Android Accessibility Service)
• Text of received and sent SMS messages
• Names of senders and recipients

Purpose: To apply pattern matching rules and generate personalized automatic responses.

Storage: Messages are processed in memory and are not permanently stored by the App.

b) Contact Information

• Contact list from your address book
• Names and phone numbers

Purpose: To identify whether the sender is in your contact list and apply selective rules (contacts/non-contacts).

c) Configuration Data

• User-created rules
• Customized response templates
• App settings (cooldown, rule priority, etc.)
• App preferences (WhatsApp, SMS)

Storage: This data is stored locally in SharedPreferences and the app's SQLite database.

d) Logging and Debugging

• Local logs of app actions
• History of sent replies (for statistics)
• Technical error information

Storage: Logs are stored locally on the device and are not transmitted externally.

2.2. Information We DO NOT Collect

AutoReply Mate does NOT collect, transmit, or store:

• GPS location data
• Financial or payment information
• Photos, media files, or attachments
• Biometric data
• Web browsing history
• Message data on external servers

3. How We Use Information

3.1. Local Processing

All information is processed LOCALLY on your device for:

• Core functionality: Reading messages, applying rules, sending automatic responses
• Pattern Matching: Comparing message content with configured rules
• Anti-Spam Protection: Checking cooldown to prevent spam
• Personalization: Applying personalized templates with dynamic variables
• Local statistics: Displaying the number of sent replies

3.2. We Do Not Share Data with Third Parties

AutoReply Mate does not share, sell, or transmit your data to:

• External servers or cloud
• Advertising companies
• Third-party analytics services
• Business partners
• Other applications

4. Required Permissions

4.1. Android Permissions

AutoReply Mate requests the following permissions:

a) Notification Listener Service Access

Purpose: To read WhatsApp notifications and detect new messages.

Usage: We only access WhatsApp notifications to extract message text and sender information.

b) SMS Read and Send

Permissions: READ_SMS, SEND_SMS, RECEIVE_SMS

Purpose: To read received SMS messages and send automatic SMS responses.

c) Contacts Access

Permission: READ_CONTACTS

Purpose: To identify whether the sender is in your contact list and apply selective rules.

d) Background Operation

Permissions: FOREGROUND_SERVICE, WAKE_LOCK

Purpose: To ensure continuous auto-reply service operation even when the app is closed.

e) Internet (Optional)

Permission: INTERNET

Purpose: Reserved for future features (update checking, online support). In the current version, the app works completely OFFLINE.

4.2. How to Revoke Permissions

You can revoke any permission at any time by:

1. Android Settings → Apps → AutoReply Mate → Permissions
2. Disabling individual permissions

Note: Revoking permissions will affect app functionality.

5. Data Security

5.1. Security Measures

We implement technical measures to protect local data:

• Encrypted storage: Sensitive data is stored using encrypted SharedPreferences
• In-memory processing: Messages are processed in memory and not stored permanently
• Restricted access: Only the App has access to its local data (Android sandbox)
• No external transmission: Data never leaves your device

5.2. User Responsibility

For maximum security, we recommend:

• Use PIN/password/fingerprint to unlock your device
• Do not share your device with unauthorized persons
• Update the app when security patches are available
• Download the app only from official sources (Google Play)

6. Data Retention

6.1. Storage Duration

• Messages: Not stored permanently; processed in memory and then deleted
• Rules and settings: Stored locally until manual deletion or app uninstallation
• Logs: Stored locally and can be manually deleted from app settings
• Reply history: Stored locally until statistics reset

6.2. Data Deletion

You can delete data in the following ways:

• Individual deletion: Delete specific rules or settings from the app
• App reset: Use the "Clear Data" option in Android settings
• Uninstallation: Uninstalling the app deletes all local data

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

You have the right to view all data stored by the app. All data is directly accessible in the app interface.

You can modify rules, templates, and settings in the app at any time.

AutoReply Mate is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided information without consent, please contact us.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be notified through:

• In-app notification
• Updating the "Last updated" date above

10. WhatsApp Compliance

Important information: AutoReply Mate uses the Android Accessibility API to read WhatsApp notifications. This is an official Android method and does not violate WhatsApp security.

However, users should be aware that:

• WhatsApp may restrict accounts that use extensive automation
• Compliance with WhatsApp Terms of Service is the user's responsibility
• The app does not access WhatsApp servers or end-to-end encryption

11. International Data Transfer

NOT APPLICABLE: Since all data is processed LOCALLY on your device, there is no international data transfer.

12. Third-Party Services

AutoReply Mate does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates completely independently and offline.
