Yes. AutoReply Mate supports keyword-based rules with multiple matching modes: exact match, contains, starts with, ends with, and full regular expressions (regex). You can create as many keyword rules as needed, each with a different auto-reply message.

Yes. AutoReply Mate supports time-based scheduling. You can specify time ranges and days of the week for your rules to be active — for example, only after 6 PM, only on weekends, or during a specific meeting time. This is perfect for "out of office" style auto replies.

AutoReply Mate has built-in cooldown protection. You set a cooldown period (from 0 hours to 30 days) per rule. After a contact receives an auto reply, they won't receive another one from that rule until the cooldown expires. This prevents repetitive or spam-like automatic responses.

AutoReply Mate uses Android's standard notification reply mechanism — the same system a person uses to reply from the notification tray. It does not inject into the WhatsApp app, use the unofficial WhatsApp Web API, or use reverse-engineered protocols. This makes it substantially safer than bot-based tools. However, any automation carries some theoretical risk, and users should use AutoReply Mate responsibly and within WhatsApp's terms of service.

Yes. All message processing is local and on-device. AutoReply Mate never sends your chat content to any external servers (unless you configure the optional Server API feature with your own server). The Server API is a PRO feature that lets you connect AutoReply Mate to any HTTP endpoint you control. When a message arrives, the app forwards it to your configured URL (secured with an X-API-Key). Your server processes the message and returns a reply, which AutoReply Mate sends automatically. This enables AI-powered, database-driven, or fully custom automated responses. Yes. Using the Server API feature (PRO), you can set up a server script in PHP, Node.js, or Python that receives messages from AutoReply Mate, calls OpenAI ChatGPT, Claude AI, or any other AI service, and returns the generated reply.
